Welcome to lovely and historic Hales Corners. On behalf of the Village Board of Trustees, we welcome you to our website.
The Village of Hales Corners is located in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. It occupies an area of 3.2 square miles and, as of 2016, has a population of 7,674. The City of Greenfield is located to the north of the Village, the Village of Greendale is to the east, the City of Franklin is to the south, and the City of New Berlin is to the west.
Hales Corners offers valuable resources for residents. A large central shopping area, excellent schools, Whitnall Park and its world-famous Boerner Botanical Gardens, and Wehr Nature Center are all shared with bordering communities. These facts, plus the ready access to the freeway system, promote the reputation of the Village as being “a great place to live”.
There are numerous organizations and activities that contribute to the civic vitality and enjoyment of this area. While Village government sponsors numerous functions and programs, there is an abundance of civic groups, schools, churches of various denominations, and neighborhood groups that would welcome your participation.
