The Hales Corners Library is a member of the Milwaukee County Federation Library System (MCFLS).  The library's print and electronic collections are available on CountyCat, the online public catalog for Milwaukee County public libraries.  The library's print collections include books, newspapers, magazines, audiobooks, and videos for all ages.  The library's electronic collections include ebooks, audiobooks and emagazines.  Special print collections include large print books, books by and about W. Ben Hunt, and local history.  Photocopies and printing from the internet are available.  Online databases include BadgerLink, Morningstar, Ancestry Plus, Mango Languages and Auto Repair Reference Center.  Computer workstations with Microsoft Office and free internet access are available on a first-come, first-served basis with a valid MCFLS library card.  Two meeting rooms are available for use by community organizations and other groups.  Programs include toddler playgroup, story times for 3 to 5 year old's book discussion groups, Wednesday afternoon films and family films, computer instruction classes, and summer reading clubs and activities.
